Massive Sunlight

 Massive Sunlight 5-25-24

Cloudy skies outside my door.

Never have seen this before….

The clouds outside are white and grey

-though not a grey day anyway

Skies peeking through the clouds are blue.

The clouds though have a different hue.

The clouds it seems to me are stuck-

celestial laws have run amok.

The clouds aren’t moving through the air-

stationery, hanging there!

Not a single breeze goes by.

No exception. Wonder why?

What an odd, confusing day

in this the latter part of May.

Sunlight beaming hurts my eyes 

as it emerges from disguise.

Clouds begin to dissipate 

as if resigned to follow fate.

What a pretty day it’s been.

Massive sunlight pouring in.
