Dear Luna

October 6, 2024
Dear Luna,
Hello old friend! How have you been? I hope you are well. How is Sally? I've thought of her a great deal of late, after seeing her in a dream a few weeks back. It was wonderful to be with her for a time, if only in a dream.
How are things in your corner of the sky? I noticed your super moon phase a little while ago-you were gorgeous! Simply breathtaking! And I saw that last week you had an eclipse in Argentina and Chile, like we did here in April! I hope it was a spectacular show!
My life has been crazy of late. I haven't had time to write much less do anything else. Actually, I've been working on my next book, entitled "Me Too." I've been working on it for months, and made a trailer for it. Check it out:
Like every book, it's a work in progress. Once I have a draft of the book done on the computer, I order an advanced copy of the book, to check it for errors.  I'm checking the book for errors, whether in formatting, punctuation, spacing, margins, etc. I hope to have it out soon, just in time for gift giving during the holidays.
In addition to working on the book, I've been working on my house. I had some art pieces to hang, and decided to create a dedicated wall for them. I named the project The Hope Wall, displaying art pieces that had the word written on them, or found in the title of the piece. The Hope Wall worked so well, that I decided to take all my framed art down throughout the house and do the same!
The project took considerable time and thought; I took all my art off the walls, patched all the nail holes in the walls, and created dedicated art displays with pieces sorted into similar themes or colors. Everything looks fantastic in the new configurations. When the project was done, I realized I'd created exhibits of my art, if you will. It really helped to bring fresh air into the space. Now my house is a museum! I should charge admission!
Other than that, life has been a kettle of crazy this year. I can't believe it's October already! It's almost time to put up my Christmas tree! I'll be putting it up in a couple of weeks. I honestly can't wait!
Well my friend, I should let you go. Thanks for reading, and for your years of friendship. I'll let you know when the book is done. Until then, take care and be well,

-E
